Shelf Life

Shelf Life began as an experiment with a Zero Image 2000 pinhole camera — a study in movement, distortion, and light within ordinary grocery aisles.

When the pandemic began and shelves started to empty, the series took on a deeper resonance. These long exposures, once about stillness and consumer rhythm, became quiet meditations on fragility — how quickly normalcy thins, and how light lingers even as things disappear.
